St.Benedict Pre-K Program:  The kindergarten program at St. Benedict School is a full day program (8:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.) with after-care available until 6:00 p.m ($3.00 per hour).  Our Before School Care program that begins at 7:00 a.m. is available at no cost to all students.  The kindergarten program offers many opportunities for children to develop social and academic skills.  The emphasis of the program is not only on content and school readiness, but also on the process of learning.The program offers a safe, developmentally appropriate education environment instilling Christian values to assist in the framework of a well-rounded individual child.

Kindergarten Curriculum:  The kindergarten program at St. Benedict School is academically structured as required by the State of Ohio.  Besides a curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for the child, the curriculum also allows for ability levels and different learning styles.  Classroom learning centers allow students to manipulate materials and objects allowing for child development of important basic concepts.
Core Curriculum:  Students in the kindergarten program study religion, language arts, technology readiness, social studies, math readiness, science, music, library, art, dramatic play, and physical education.
